Doctor's Secret Match

I'm the journalist who exposed his past. He's the doctor trying to rebuild his future. Neither of us expected to need each other or to fall for each other in the process.

When Dr. Adrian Pierce moves to my mid town, the last thing I expect is to meet him at the hospital's welcome party. Our banter is fun, flirty…until he realizes who I am. I'm the one who wrote the article that nearly ruined his career, and he wants nothing to do with me.

My editor demands an exclusive interview with him, but Adrian flat-out refuses. Then I discover his department desperately needs funding for new equipment. I make him a deal: I'll help him plan the hospital's fundraiser if he agrees to share his side of the story.

Working with Adrian is harder, and more distracting, than I anticipated. Between late-night planning sessions and the occasional accidental touches, I see a side of him I didn't expect: kind, funny, and passionate about his work. The lines between us blur, and before I know it, we're keeping our relationship a secret.

But secrets have a way of getting out. And suddenly, everything I've worked for crumbles.
