a raw story with a satisfying end
As I already expected this story was raw and not easy to read. I could feel the pain of our heroine. I could also feel her hopelessness, because she had no idea how to get away from this situation. In a way this book shows us why it can be so hard to get away from an abusive situation, why it's not easy to break free. This book shows the power the abusers have over their victims. This story luckily had a happy and satisfying ending. Not everyone is so lucky.
