As Jules begin her sixth year being stranded in Provence, she’s also been without her husband Luc for nearly a year. While she tries to earn the respect of the villagers of Chabanel and prove herself as the interim Chief of Police a grape picker is found murdered in the middle of the area’s annual vineyard festival. Making matters worse, a man she sent away for attempted murder is released back into the village to cause more trouble. He also happens to be the husband of Jules’ best friend, the mayor of Chabanel. When a second man is killed, Jules realizes there is more than grapes at stake. Can she untangle all the troubling memories and deep-seated secrets from the twisted fines to uncover the truth—and possibly salvage her own heart in the process?
