The defendant, Thomas J. Garrella, was charged with the robbery of Earl L. Mulkins on June 11, 1971, in violation of sec. 943.32 (1) (a), Stats. Garrella was tried by a jury, which found him guilty, and on December 16, 1971, he was sentenced to an indeterminate term in the Wisconsin State Prison for a period not to exceed five years. This court issued a writ of error to review the judgment. The testimony of the victim Mulkins was sufficient, if believed by the jury, to show that Garrella and his companion physically assaulted Mulkins and took from him a billfold containing approximately $170. This testimony, which was believed by the jury, was sufficient to show the defendant guilty of robbery beyond a reasonable doubt.
