Hot Scot #4 is the story of Jamie and Gavin. Jamie is the sister of Hot Scots Lachlan, Aiden and Rory (books #1-3). Gavin is Calli’s brother who is married to Aiden.
The story is alternately told by Emery (wife of Rory), Jamie and Gavin. It starts just before Halloween and ends at Christmas (epilogue just after Valentines day), so the title is perfect.
Gavin struggles with issues from his past but is really deeply in love with Jamie. Jamie has her own problems (like an ex from the past, Trevor, suddenly appearing on a Halloween party) but is also very much in love with Gavin. Throughout the story their love is almost palpable but they each have to overcome their obstacles/issues. And Gavin has to win over the Three Macs as well.
There is a lot going on in this book and I loved it as much as the others. It is a standalone but it is so much more fun to read the previous books as well. You won’t be disappointed! I am so looking forward to Hot Scot #5!!
