Haines v. Kerner

KNOCH, Senior Circuit Judge. Plaintiff-appellant Francis Haines, brought suit in the United States District Court, pursuant to the Civil Rights statutes, Title 28 U.S.C. § 1343(3) and Title 42 U.S.C. § 1981, in forma pauperis, to recover a total of $500,000 as damages for deprivation of his rights, under Title 42 U.S.C. §§ 1981, 1983 and 1985(2).
