All Jade Thornton has ever wanted was to write songs and play her guitar. But after a school recital gone wrong, she accepts that it will never happen.

Until years later she is reunited with a former friend, the charismatic Nashone Daniels, who convinces Jade to chase her songwriting dreams again with the help of the music label, Guerilla Records. 

Now entrapped with shady men in suits and petty artists, Jade realizes that one misstep could end her career before it starts.
