Hump

For eight years, retired lawman August Sterling has been hunting for the camel that took his arm. Now, he has a chance: the beast is wounded, moving slowly along the edge of the Texas desert, begging for Sterling to catch up and finish him off.

There's just one problem:

The nineteen-year-old daughter of the camel's latest victim insists on riding along. Sterling tries to avoid it-he's riding to kill, not babysit. But he begrudgingly accepts the company when she makes it clear she's going whether he wants her to or not.

As they race across the desert, Sterling discovers his desire for revenge is complicated by a new emotion that could change everything...

Maybe killing the camel will be the easy part.
