Lady Emily Moore had had enough of living in a chilly, isolated home. She so started working for the Marquess of Kain as a maid. She had never been happier since the three months she spent dressing down as a commoner were worth more than her whole life combined. However, she was unaware of the housemaster's sinister secret.

Marquess of Kain, Dorian Hassildor, is under pressure from the Higher Court to be married and have a child so that his lineage can continue. He had no idea where to search until he met his maid, who had been working hard for him. She has manners and etiquette that a regular person shouldn't know, he observed. However, he discovered the truth and resolved to claim that maid as his own.
