All December wanted was a quiet Christmas far away from the city. With no family waiting for her and nothing tying her down, a secluded mountain cottage felt like the perfect escape.

Malone had other reasons for disappearing. Laying low for a couple of weeks was the only way to get the wrong people off his trail, and the last thing he needed was company.

When a rental mix-up lands them both in the same remote cottage, neither has many options. The roads are snowed in, the nearest town is miles away, and Christmas is fast approaching. For better or worse, they agree to share the space until the holidays are over.

What was supposed to be a simple escape turns into a Christmas neither of them planned and one neither is quite ready to leave behind.
