Parent Course

This edition of John Tracy Clinic's Distance Education for Parents includes information on communication, thinking, motor and social development of children with hearing loss ages two through five. Activities are suggested to encourage auditory learning and language skills in enjoyable everyday tasks. It is designed in a family friendly format with positive encouragement, simple strategies, multiple graphics, note sections and short summaries. Those interested in early childhood hearing loss will find this a useful resource for promoting child interactions, family hope, playful learning, developmental guidance and partnerships between parents and service providers. Illustrations/graphics are in black and white on each page. NOTE: Families of babies and preschoolers can enroll in JTC's Distance Learning for Parents Program and receive these materials, additional publications and personalized ongoing guidance at no cost.
