Peruvian Amazon

This book is a photographic tour of the Amazon rainforest in Peru. Photos were taken in areas close to Iquitos, including some near or at: the Amazon Conservatory for Tropical Studies, Monkey Island (La Isla De Los Monos) and Centro de Custodia Temporal Neyser, among other localities. Chapters include: Rainforest, Primates, Other Mammals, Birds, Reptiles & Amphibians and Invertebrates. Photos only, no text.


My intention in publishing this book is to promote a greater appreciation for the diversity and beauty of nature. By immersing yourself in these series of photographs I hope you will feel transported to and connected with these environments. Not only this should provide a mental retreat from everyday issues, but maybe it will spark your curiosity to learn more about these ecosystems, and possibly, encourage you to participate in activities that help protect nature.
