1. INTRODUCTION The participation at training of physical activity in very old people living in residential care facilities may have some effects in terms of the potential positive consequences for the general physical and psychological conditions. On its turn some improvement in the general physical and psychological conditions may enhance the global quality of life and may contribute to the maintenance of cognitive and physical skills and autonomy.
