Raccoon Ears Bonnet Knitting Pattern

Make the cutest little baby animal hat - knit a racoon bonnet!
This easy, beginner friendly knitting pattern comes in sizes from newborn to 24 months. There are: newborn, 0-3 months, 3-6 months, 6-12 months and 12-24 months sizes included.
You will need: DK yarn (up to 70 grams for the largest size in main color and up to 10 grams in contrasting color for the ears, up to 4 grams of black yarn for the black raccoon stripe), knitting needles to obtain the gauge (this pattern's gauge is 21 stitches in 4 inches / 10 centimeters), darning needle to weave in the yarn ends and to sew the back of the bonnet and to sew the ears, crochet hook in the same mm size as the knitting needles (if you are making crochet ties).
The bonnet and the ears are knit flat.
