About the Author



Tomás Alvarez is the most noted Spanish scholar in Teresian studies. Besides his editions of Teresa's Complete Works and Letters, he has presented to the public excellent facsimile editions of her manuscripts. These now allow us to have the critical editions of her Life, The Foundations, The Way of Perfection and The Interior Castle just as they came from Teresa's hand.
