The essential elements of saving faith include yielding to the authority of God, a genuine coming to Christ, a complete surrender of my whole life to God, and believing on Christ with all my heart, affections, and will. Who does saving faith look to? The only object of true saving faith is Christ as the surety of the new covenant. We must look to Christ in His willingness to save sinners.
