1. To assure the appearance of a juvenile who is a material witness in a first-degree murder prosecution, the district court has authority to require bail of more than $50 where bail is posted by a person other than the juvenile. 2. Bail of $50,000 required of a material witness subpoenaed to provide Spreigl evidence in a first-degree murder trial was not excessive.
