The Cut

She touches the cut. She hears your thoughts. She knows your pain.

A nameless orphan grows up with a strange, chilling gift: she can read minds through touch. Specifically, through touching an open wound. She soon comes to the attention of a ruthless businessman known as the Boss, who offers her comfort and protection - but always under his absolute control.

When a private tutor arrives to her new job on the Boss's luxurious guarded estate, she witnesses a disturbing scene, as an injured man lies bleeding outside the mansion. Her new employer beckons a young woman over and utters a single word.

Read.

The young woman places her hands on the man's wounds, recites an address, and leaves.

As the tutor witnesses the disturbing blurring of tenderness and cruelty between her new pupil and the Boss, she's drawn into their volatile business arrangement. But the tutor has arrived with her own secrets - and she'll only get out of the estate alive if the young girl's 'gift' is never turned on her.

Every cut tells a story. Every story leaves a mark.
And in The Cut, survival is never clean.
