The Democratic Denominator

This book aims to analyze what Eurosceptic parties themselves claim are the core principles upon which they base their opposition towards the European Union. While most scientists have focused on voter behavior or organizational styles when trying to define Eurosceptic parties’ political platforms, I believe it is key to pay more attention to what these political parties themselves argue are the core principles upon which they base their Euroscepticism. That is exactly what this research paper aims to do by asking: On what core principles do Eurosceptic parties base their anti-EU rhetoric?
