Romance and Christmas snacks
This book is about the eldest sister and I like how different her story was from the stories about her siblings. She's not ready to embrace love when it crosses her path. She's afraid that the relationship will end in disaster and therefore afraid to go for it. It's lovely to see her slowly face her fears and take next steps.
I also liked the Christmas vibe, especially because it wasn't TOO Christmassy. Even if you're not reading this book in December you will still be able to enjoy the story. Yes, there is this Christmas fair and there are a lot of mentions of Christmas snacks, but it's not dominating the entire story. It's still a cute romance first.
I also really loved how our heroine slowly realized that her younger brother might want to be more involved with the bakery than she always thought. I also love how the author explains why the eldest sister didn't notice before how involved he was and wanted to be. Especially after reading her brother's story this plot felt really satisfying.
I can't wait to read the last book in the series.
