The Morgue

"We're just unconventional."

Two bodies delivered to the morgue in one night means a long shift for Rayne Perez. It gets busier when the second body decides to sit itself up while her hands are still in the middle of its open chest cavity.

It's safe to say that the paramedics may have made a mistake with calling time of death.

When she wakes in the hospital, she discovers that not only were the security cameras NOT working that night, but she died on the operating table before being brought back.

Oh, and now she can see dead people wandering around.

Then to add even more chaos to her normally boring life, a hotter-than-hell cop shows up, claiming that she's his Mate. And he comes bearing handcuffs.
