Have you ever made a mistake and didn’t want to own up? That kind of thing happens a lot in Joe’s family.

Then, one day, they are visited by a strange creature: the Notme. The Notme starts out as a naughty little pest, but it gets bigger and meaner with every fib that is told by Joe’s family!

Joe is the first to see how dangerous the Notme is. Can he warn the others and stand up to the monster?


Wilma van den Bosch

Wilma was born in Canada as a daughter of Dutch immigrants. She grew up reading the Peanuts comic strip and Dr. Seuss stories. Eventually her family moved back to the Netherlands.

Wilma now creates art and stories for several popular children’s magazines in the Netherlands – such as the weekly Donald Duck and Tina.

Wilma writes children’s picture books as well. Of these, “The Notme” is the first story that is being published for iPad.


A Dutch-language version of this book – “Ikniet” – is available as well in the Dutch and Belgian stores.
