He built an empire by trusting no one. Then he met the one woman who made that impossible.
Trusting the wrong person could cost him everything. Trusting the right one could save them both.
Sam Duke doesn't believe in coincidences. So when the same woman keeps crossing his path—a coffee shop, a charity gala, a chance encounter outside his office—he has his security team investigate her before he lets himself get close.
Olivia Ray already learned the hard way that trusting the wrong man can shatter your life. After rebuilding herself in Prague, she's finally back in New York, determined to focus on graduate school and the future she's worked hard to create. Falling for a guarded billionaire with walls higher than his Manhattan penthouse was never part of the plan.
But Sam doesn't ask Olivia to trust him. He earns it.
The more time they spend together, the harder Sam falls—and the more obvious it becomes that someone has been watching him far longer than he realized. His fortune built an empire, but it also made him a target. And now the woman he can't stop thinking about is caught in the crosshairs.
When the danger finally strikes, Sam discovers the greatest threat isn't losing his company or his fortune—it's losing Olivia. To protect the woman he loves, he'll have to uncover who betrayed him before it's too late.
Trust Me is the second book in the interconnected West Side Series. Olivia—Anna's best friend from Blurred Lines—never expected the billionaire she couldn't ignore to become the one man she'd risk everything for. Each book follows a different couple and can be enjoyed as a complete standalone.

Great book!
4,5 stars. This was a great book! I loved the characters of Olivia and Sam. Sam is adorable!
They notice each other for the first time in a coffee shop and the attraction is immediate. As it turns out later, she becomes his intern. Many things happen from there. I don’t want to give any spoilers. The story flowed well. It’s written in dual POV and it was great to see the characters of Anna and Jackson, from the first book (When Stars Align), again.
I’m not sure if this one or the previous one is the best book in this series. I guess you’ll have to read them both for yourself. You’ll love them both, trust me! 😉
Just lovely
I really liked this book and its characters.
