This appeal from a judgment of the Criminal Court of Baltimore City against the appellant for unlawfully possessing lottery books, tickets and similar paraphernalia, raises two principal questions: first, the validity of the search warrant in the execution of which the States testimony was secured; and second, the Courts ruling restricting cross-examination of a state witness by the appellant.
