Lean book, not lean marketing
If you are looking for a lean, simple book about the absolute basics of marketing, this is the book for you. It gives the beginner a comprehensive overview to understand how marketing works, but no tools to actually do it (some models could bring it up to that level.
If you like me, however, is a professional marketer working on lean marketing to bring the benefits of lean management into marketing, look elsewhere. Do not be mislead by the title to think this is a book about the lean marketing revolution, because it is not. Ther is little lean and no revolution. I' d reccomend a title change to avoid disappointment in the reader.
However, it's nicely written for the beginner with extremely understandable real llife examples. Good, simple language and an easy read.
