A Trilobite Lab: Part II — Middle School

In Part II of the lab are the Trilobite Unknowns. Our Lab is a unique "Digital Field Trip" where students travel to remote locations and encounter rare trilobite specimens. Deductive and observational skills are taught using trilobites and
their variation as a teaching methodology. State standards and benchmarks such as: scientific thinking and practice, understanding patterns and relationships, index fossils, geologic time, extinction, fossil succession, etc. are reinforced in this unique Digital Lab.
