Auto-Biography Outline

GENERAL INFORMATION This Outline will help you get started and stay focused on you and your life.

1.When following this outline below give a lot of facts and descriptions so the reader can follow you and understand your train of thought.
2.Once you have given the reader a good beginning with following this outline, you can then broaden it into detail adding pictures along the way.
3.If you do not want to type this information, you can have somebody ask you these questions and you can talk into a tape recorder. Then at another time it can be typed into a document for your family.
4.Just try and think back into the past and try to remember in order of how your life story played out.
5.Pictures are a great way to tell your story. Place pictures in the outline to help with family history.
6.Or place pictures in a book and write short stories about the pictures.
7.As your story progresses, you will find that you are making a family tree.
8.On Google search for family trees. There are many free programs to choose from.
9.A memoir is different than an autobiography.
A memoir usually is one great story in your life.
