Call of the Loa

            After the death of her mother, strange things start happening to Cassie Barrett. Visions of the past and future, hearing people's thoughts, sensing imminent danger; they all started with a pendant she found in her mother's belongings.  With the help of Private Investigator, Derek Warner, they attempt to figure out what is going on.  A visit to New Orleans reveals her deep voodoo heritage and Cassie's responsibilities to the Loa.  How does a voodoo queen live a normal life?  What other secrets did her mother hide from her?
