Imagine being a young girl growing up in today's society. The pressures, the expectations the innate need to fit in. Young girls are finding it so much harder these day's to accept themselves for who they are and are striving for perfection. They want to be prettier, thinner and more successful than the next girl. However, what is more concerning is that this is happening at a much younger age.



In this book, the Author has written about her own experience with Anorexia and how she was able to overcome this eating disorder. She shares an insight into her daughters struggle with body image and how parents that are raising daughters today, can empower them to accept themselves for who they are and encourage them to be the best person they can be.



Empower Me is filled with beautiful photos of ten young girls between the ages of fourteen months and eleven years of age. The photo's invite us to look at them from a different angle. They are natural, individual and they celebrate the girls for who they are and that is amazing!
