Learn Apple's game engine called SpriteKit together with Swift. Along the way I'll introduce you to some programming concepts that make your code easier to write, read, re-use and will make your game more robust.
Together we'll build an Endless Runner space themed game where the player must avoid meteors and pick up stars for bonus points. Fast paced games anyone can pick up an play are a great place to start your journey as a game developer.
All you need is a Mac and a copy of Xcode downloaded for free from the Mac App Store. I have provided the rest. Let's get started.

Great book for learing SpriteKit
I would like to call my self an intermediet programmer. I have used the language Swift for quite some time, migrating from other languages like C++ and ST. To my point ... I would like to recomend this book for intermediet programmers with the basic knowledge of programming. And moastly basic knowledge of swift. Althoug, if you are at the beginner level and don't get easly frustrated. The book is easy to follow, but does not dive in to the language. In other words perfect next step after mastering the basics. The author of this book writes code with a good practice. All in all .. A Great Book To Learn SpriteKit ..! Worth every penny.
