Going Through Galatians

The initial study gives the background to Paul’s letter to the Galatians, covering the places he visited and the types of people he met.

 

Subsequent studies are in two parts.

 

·         First there are questions which bring out the interpretation in its historical context.

·         Then there are questions seeking applications to 21st Century society.

 

This series of studies, however, is well designed and can be used either for private study and meditation for the individual or for group study and discussion.

 

The prayer is that readers will enjoy this series on Galatians and will learn a lot about this first letter written by the Apostle Paul. However, it may help at times to refer to the book Galatians: Interpretation and Application written by Michael Penny. This helpful publication first sets forth the historical setting (the interpretation) of each passage, before dealing with various applications for today.
