But Darcy is tired of death and longs for the mortal pleasures she was never able to experience as a chronically ill young woman. Something has to change—and something does on her new assignment in Annapolis, when she finds herself immediately attracted to bartender Gabriel. Unfortunately, Gabriel is a Guardian Angel who sees every death as a failure and has little love for Reapers. Their departments may be sworn rivals, but Darcy and Gabriel’s attraction proves much harder to resist. Newcomers can jump right into this second Ghosted romance, while returning readers will enjoy another trip through B.K. Borison’s wonderfully quirky afterlife.
