Hidden Treasures

Erica Leitner’s dream is to be an earth mother, moving to tiny Rockwell, New Hampshire and learning to garden, cook, and bake wholesome breads. She has absolutely no earth-mother skills, but she’s determined to learn them. Her life gets upended, however, when, while planting zucchinis and tomatoes in her backyard, she unearths a mysterious antique box.

Her life is also upended by the arrival of Jed Willetz, who has returned to Rockwell to bury his grandfather’s ashes. Jed hates Rockwell and doesn’t wish to spend a day longer than necessary in the town where he grew up. But the discovery of the box in Erica’s yard—a treasure or a piece of junk?—turns Rockwell into a media circus, one he can’t easily escape.

With reporters swarming the town, merchants capitalizing on Rockwell’s sudden fame, and several residents staking claims on the box, Erica doesn’t have time to pay any attention to Jed—except that he’s the sexiest man she’s ever met, and the chemistry between them is downright combustible. Can they survive the publicity storm and their clashing views of small-town life, and figure out what’s really worth treasuring?
