Horsch v. Terminix Int'l Co.

The Terminix International Company (Terminix) appeals from a

jury verdict awarding damages to Steven W. Horsch and Jane E.

Horsch for Terminix's negligence in a termite inspection.

Terminix also claims the trial court erred in awarding attorney

fees and related costs to the Horsches. We affirm. The Horsches entered into a contract for the purchase of a

farmhouse, outbuildings, personal property, and five acres of

land. The purchase price was $50,000. The purchase contract

required a termite inspection certificate be furnished to the

Horsches.
