Book 1 – Mirage Union: A Surprise

Amahale stood at the door to a house she had left almost a year ago. The first thing she noticed was the familiar smell the house held, and one that stuck to everyone who lived in the building. It smelled like home, comforting in its own way.

Cobalt brought her breath to a halt for the second time since she first made his acquaintance. He was attractive in more ways than one and even as she admitted it to herself, she scolded herself for such thoughts. She had just woken up, fresh out of rest and clad in the same gown she wore earlier. Cobalt was seated beside her, watching her eyes dart the ceiling before in confusion before settling on an insignificant spot.

Will love have a chance to show up for these two young hearts? The two move into their new home and settling in together seems hard. Amahale is unwilling to do the basic chores but Cobalt is patient enough. They attempt to get to know each other and somehow, this may have seemed like a good idea but alas, maybe not. As life continues to unfold for both Amahale and Cobalt, Cobalt busies himself with work, implementing new ideas and expanding his business. Amahale begins to feel alone as she is left on her own for most of  the time. As fate would have it, she makes a new friend around the neighbourhood only to find out that she is a girl friend of Cobalt's past and this leads to him showing his excitement in the reunion that has presented itself unknowingly for him.

And with any growing life in a woman's womb, it is just a matter of time before it all shows. And with this growth comes the given woes of upset stomach, lack of appetite, cravings, and yes, morning and maybe even evening sickness – not much fun. It is during this period of her pregnancy that Amahale needs more than a professional support of the man she calls her husband.
