Adrian M. van Praag began learning to play the piano at the age of four. As a child he won the Tony Fenelon award for his recording of a Bach Invention and later became the first piano student to win the Faith Court award at the West Australian Academy of Performing Arts (WAAPA). Adrian graduated from WAAPA with a Certificate, Diploma and Bachelor of Music. Adrian now resides in Brisbane where he regularly performs and teaches music. 

This book of 8 works for contemporary piano quartet was written in late 2018. These pieces are scored for piano and drum kit with chord symbols provided for guitar and bass. Recordings are available which suggest a possible interpretation for the bass and guitar parts.
