The Human Machine The Human Machine

Publisher Description

Enoch Arnold Bennett was a remarkable English novelist and journalist, famous for such novels as The Old Wives' Tale, The Card and the Clayhanger trilogy. Having won Tit-Bits magazine literary competition, he began working as an assistant editor in Woman periodical. After writing a successful serial, which later became The Grand Babylon Hotel and his first novel A Man from the North, Bennett walked into the editor position, but gave it up for the literary career. In 1923 his novel Riceyman Steps won James Tait Black Memorial Prize. Most of Bennett's works bore the test of time and are still immensely popular.

First published in 1908, The Human Machine is a one of the first self-help books. Although written more than a hundred years ago, the book is still full of fresh advice.  Why is mindfulness so important? How does our brain affect our everyday life and how can we control it?

A classic example of Bennett's humorous and undeniably pleasant style, this book is a real treasure. Do you want the best piece of ageless advice? Then download the book and enjoy the reading!
