The Man I Know

We have the perfect life, the most amazing marriage, neither of us wanting for more.
Or so I thought.

One night I walked in on my husband saying filthy, vile things all while holding my photo, directing those things at me.

Scared, I fled the room, and he chased me, trying desperately to explain. "Let me explain," he begged, and because he's the love of my life and the father of our sons, I listened.

And I learned he has secrets.

Secrets he wasn't ready to share, things I wasn't prepared to hear.

But once it's out there, it can't be taken back. For the sake of our marriage, we dive into the darkness.
