The TARI Project The TARI Project

The TARI Project

Publisher Description

The TARI, or Technology Assisted Reading Intervention project, is the result of a large grant from the Louisiana Board of Regents.  The PI’s, or Primary Investigators, of the grant are Dr. Cynthia B. Vavasseur and Dr. Frances Crochet.

The primary goals of the grant are:

1. To increase reading achievement of identified students in grades K-3 in the areas of phonemic awareness, phonics, vocabulary, fluency, reading comprehension and writing.

2. To enhance the tutoring experience for Nicholls State University candidates and elementary students by providing high quality technology and interactive apps.

This ebook will be your guide for your involvement in the project.  The ebook contains user agreements and procedures which must be adhered to, as well as an introduction to apps that are preloaded on the iPad.  It also contains instructions and resources for projects that will be created in your EDUC 402/403 course.
