Kit is not a hiker. But when her boss and her girlfriend dump her in the same morning, the AT suddenly feels like the only place left to go. She grabs a backpack, a pair of boots, and sets out to escape… something. Anything.

They meet by chance on the trail. Raven needs a friend. Kit needs guidance. And with 2,000 miles of wilderness ahead, they find themselves sharing meals, old scars, and a very cozy tent. On the mountain, it feels easy—wild and raw and real. But when the hike ends and real life returns, Raven and Kit must decide whether what they found in the wilderness can survive the world beyond it.
