Christopher Lee Field appeals his convictions of first degree unlawful possession of a firearm and intimidating a witness. He contends that the trial court erred in denying his motion to suppress a firearm discovered during a warrantless search of his van because his community corrections officer (CCO) lacked reasonable suspicion of criminal activity to justify the search. Acting pro se, he also contends that the trial court erred when it failed to sever the offenses, denied his motion to suppress, and violated his right to a speedy trial. Finding that Fields CCO had a reasonable suspicion that Field had violated the terms and conditions of his community supervision, that Field waived his right to raise the severance issue, and that the record before us does not support his speedy trial claim, we affirm.
