Publisher Description

Now in a new, expanded, and fully revised third edition, this best-selling audio handbook will help you learn the skills ¿ and the art ¿ of good coaching, and realise its enormous value in unlocking people's potential to maximize their own performance.
This edition includes additional chapters on incorporating meaning and purpose into work and goal-setting, a spiritual approach to coaching, and a final section on "Coaching the Organisations' Culture". Adopted by many of the world's major corporations, this work also argues for using questions, rather than instructions and commands, and following the GROW sequence ¿ Goals, Reality, Options, Will ¿ to generate prompt action and peak performance. It explores the dynamics of team development, and it positions coaching as the essential team-leadership skill.

Rip Off. This is false advertising

Do not buy this, it is a rip off and misleading. This book indicates by the text advertising it that it is a book, a full book, a fully revised third edition it states. I have this book and thought I would like it as an audiobook. This is NOT a copy of the book, it is an introduction telling you about the book, more like an infomercial, it is not reading any of the pages out of the book other than the introduction page. What a rip off. This is false advertising and very misleading and where I live this is illegal and against the laws, it breaches the fair trading act and the consumer guarantees act as it leads the consumer to believe you are paying for a copy of the book when what you get is only 14 minutes of advertising talking about what the book does. I want my money back!!!!!! You need to change your wording so you don't rip off anyone else or are fined for doing so. Text talking about the book like "Now in a new, expanded, and fully revised third edition, this best-selling audio handbook will help you learn the skills and the art of good coaching........ This edition includes additional chapters on incorporating meaning and purpose into work and go setting, a spiritual approach to coaching , and the final section on "coaching the organizations culture...." None of this is on the 14 minutes you get when you pay a very pricy $2.99 for what is an informercial
