Kelsi Wells wrote this book during her first year of high school. The publisher, by a stroke of luck, discovered this delightful warm story. Told by the mouse, Genie, when Santa is discovered unloading the kittens' presents. Santa's conversation with Genie, enlightens the reader about the importance of giving. While getting presents is primary in the minds of young children (and kittens), it is the attitude of giving that is the soul of the season.
