A Need For Lightning

Death of two of his wives and a third when they discover that it was no accident shatters Brad's peaceful retirement on his ranch. Once the President of the Unified Earth, he thought his retirement would allow him to spend more time with his children still at home. But it was not to be!
Contact by Aliens with his wife Cat makes him decide to go into space seeing how paranoid the Earth had become after the martian bug incident, he knew Earth was not ready to accept Aliens so he has his family contact people to build a craft so they can go out into space contacting the Aliens with the device they left in Cat's care, he knew he would be successful.
Earth's paranoia might stop him from returning and could cost him another wife he soon finds.
