You probably know Shaw as the brilliant playwright that he became famous as, but in this collection of essays, he demonstrates the sheer brilliance of his mind, as he tackles the relationship between parents and children, and essentially lays out a sort of manual of values and ethics that should be imbibed in children. Written over a hundred years ago, his Treatise has survived changing social contexts, and at its core, continues to be relevant even today- perhaps even more so than ever before.
