A Vampire Paradox

What do you get when you have a seven-year-old little girl, wise beyond her years? Add her mother, recently widowed, and wondering what she is going to do with the rest of her life, mix that with a handsome but lonely vampire who thinks he wants to be left alone, but is desperately fighting his desire to get to know his lovely new neighbor and her daughter.
