Adam and Abagail Go to St Tom's

A traditional British boarding school story set in a small monastic school in the Scottish Hebrides, Adam and Abagail arrive for their first term. Whilst boarding school life is fun, it is not always easy, and alliances form and collapse as the children work their way in the social hierarchy. There is the glamorous blonde Mary, the spoilt Cecelia, the self-righteous short Mary, and a girl called Mandy who is in the care of social services. Then there's the suave Sebastian, James who is annoying good at everything, the morose Ibrahim, and the ever-dependable Albert. The children also have to cope with bullying prefects and older years. Why is blond Mary such friends with Mandy? And when the pairs' schemes go wrong, it is left to Adam to show what a strong character he is, as a mysterious figure from the monastery's past comes to save the day.
