Because We Love

Palm Springs, California, in a Future Time, America reels under the harsh laws of a terrorist regime. A young Christian widow facing execution for sharing her faith hides out in abandoned houses as she awaits the birth of her child. Accepting that her death is inevitable, she asks God to find a mother for her baby.

Across town, Aishah, a childless Muslim woman, has almost given up hope of ever holding a baby in her arms. She prays one last desperate prayer to "Whoever is up there".

Faith and fear collide when the two woman meet, and Aishah promises she will risk her life to claim the newborn as her own. But someone she least suspects knows her secret.

New hope is born in the infant's emerald eyes but the battle for love, faith and freedom has only just begun.
