Biographies of Early Muslim Women

The reader will find biographies of over six hundred early Muslim women who lived during the time of the Prophet. Entries include her name, her mother's name, the name of her children, the name of her husband (s) and where information is available. It is adapted from the earliest sources of Ibn Ishaq (d. 761 or 767 CE) and Ibn Sad al-Baghdadi (784-845 CE).
