MSGT, USAF Paramedic in his knowledge and impassioned work, Bioterrorism: I Smell Smoke in the Health Care Community focuses on today’s most prominent threat, bacteria that caused the bubonic plague known as Yersinia Pestis. The author states knowledge and awareness are key factors all health-care workers need to be equipped with. Early diagnosis is essential to limiting any outbreak, become another nightmare such as the Plague.


The interest of this paper came about with a question, how did a simple flea and lonely rate cause such devastation to wipe out a generation and left a signature in medial research. Teamwork amongst nations shared knowledge, and faith in GOD WE TRUST can conquer the sleeping giant, Yersinia. Dr. McCray believes without Jesus the battle between good and evil against a deadly disease can’t be retained.
